I'm gonna talk about four things today. Firstly about Wednesday's Timed Practice, secondly about yesterday's volleyball training, thirdyly my results and fourthly, you will find out later. Haha.
Wednesday's Timed Practice
On Wednesday, the Timed Practice was on Additional Mathematics. For those who have dropped A-maths, they will do Elementary Mathematics. At first I was thinking like the worksheet will be soooo easy and not think much but when I started doing, I was suddenly stuck on the first question lol!!! I was like HOW TO DO!!!!???? Thomas, the maths pro in class like me, also says AAAAAA!!! WHAT CRAP IS THIS??!!!! Haha so so funny. We took like 5 min or so staring at the stupid first question and nothing comes into mind. Thomas then saw on the board that teacher wrote, "Do not do question 1" and he told me that. He straight away jumped to question 2 but I was still doing question 1 because by the time he saw those words on the board, I knew how to do question 1 haha. Soon I finished question 1 and then 2 and then 3 and 4. Altogether there were 7 questions. 1 A-math question can roughly take about 5-10min to solve if you know your stuff. If don't know, then will take much longer haha.
This was when the fun started. By the time I was at question 5, everyone else other than Thomas were still at question 2 because they were stuck at question 2 and were trying to crack their heads on how to do it when I already completed it long ago. Hehe. Aminah was the first person who asked me to teach her how to do because she said Thomas so unfriendly and his method not detailed and so I stopped my work and then taught her. Then don't know why, more and more people kept coming to me!!!! After I taught Aminah, I wrote a statement for question 5, just one and Kester came running along to me. The funny thing is before they approach me, they will call out "Tommy!!" Then I think because of this, more people heard that I knew how to do and more came running along!! AHHH!! Haha. Just when I finished teaching Kester, I wrote 1-2 more statements and then "Tommy!!!" came again!!! Another person shouted and this time was Darren. AHHH!! Taught and showed him the working and then he went back. After 1min or so, he was back and called "Tommy!!" again. AHHHH!! I couldn't even finish question 5, so many people kept coming and kept calling my name haha!!
So funny! So from that time onwards, whenever someone called me again, I will say, "Tommy again!!??" so loud that I think the whole class could hear haha. About more than 15 times people approached me sia. Even Zhao Wei who was doing E-maths, came and asked me how to to simple interest... ... ...And he commented they must all ask the pro how to do so all came to me haha. I think the moment I finished my paper, almost half the class would have already completed it haha because they came to me and then they knew how to do while I am still concentrating on teaching another person afterwards haha. What made this whole Timed Practice interesting was the "Tommy!!!" part haha which made me so anxious on that day while Aminah was laughing. Kester was giggling a little while Thomas was laughing his head off at me. ARGH!!! Hehe while but I am glad I was able to help my classmates. After all, they might learn from this simple worksheet and they could improve on their A-maths.
Thursday's volleyball training
Woots first volleyball training for the year of 2010. I don't really like going volleyball because it makes me have to rush my homework once I reach home and I cannot take my afternoon nap. Oh well Thursday is the only day that has no Timed Practice and thus school ended at 1 45pm(half an hour earlier than other days). At first Marcus Chua and I wanted to go to Lot 1 to have our lunch since 3pm then training starts and we had lots of time. But there were no one else who wanted to go Lot 1, all of them wanted to either play soccer or basketball while waiting so in the end we ate our lunch in school instead of Lot 1. After lunch, went out to see Marcus Liau they all playing soccer and soon it rained so we went into the indoor sports hall to wait for training to start and thats when we saw Qi Kai stripping in the hall haha. Stripping as in taking off his long pants and shirt cause his pe attire was already inside haha.
Marcus Chua soon went don't know where on his own and Qi Kai and I were walking about the school while waiting for 3pm to come cause he said waiting in the indoor sports hall was boring. We walked behind the hall and band people were there. We met Man Ling, Qi Kai was talking to her and I saw Sis(Samantha). She was playing her don't know what is that call haha, so we just waved at each other, never talked. After Qi Kai was done, we went back into the indoor sports hall but before that, bid farewell to sis. By the time we went back in, the C girls and B girls were already setting up the volleyball net. C girls is sec 2 girls while B girls is sec 4 girls. There were like so many people and we(sec 4 boys) thought that we wouldn't have enough space to play at all but then when training started, the new coach, don't know what name, told us that our job were to help him coach the sec 1 boys and girls haha. At first, we were just playing among ourseleves because the sec 2 girls played with the sec 1 girls, and there were enough sec 3 and 4 boys to coach the sec 1 boys, so I wasn't coaching anyone at that point of time.
So I was playing with Qi Kai and Victor and Marcus Liau and Zheng Lun volleyball. Surprisingly I got back my touch in about 20min or so. Fast har? Usually it would take longer since I never played volleyball for months le. Haha. Soon was water break and then sec 2 girls had another coach training them so now those earlier who did not have anyone to coach has to pick any of the sec 1 girls to coach that the sec 2 girls were doing earlier. We were like AHHHHH!!! Must pick girls!!!!! Haha. So no choice, just pick one lor, is coach one to one de. I picked don't know who, never ask for her name. So basically I just played with her thats all because that was what the coach instucted us to do. Well since she was a sec 1 and newly joined volleyball, she did not know exactly how to play it or rather she was doing it wrongly. I didn't teach her the correct method because coach only said to throw the ball for her to receive and never said need to correct them hahaha. She must be able to receive the ball 23 times in a roll but of course she couldn't. Instead of we receiving to each other, I had to go pick the ball don't know how many times all over the indoor sports hall haha.
She hit the ball wrongly and it flew. WHEEEEEEE~~~~!!!! Haha. So most of the time was spent getting the ball back. Well at least the highest she could go was 8 or so and not like 3 or 4 so it was ok for a beginner. It was water break again and after which, the sec 1s were training against the wall or themselves haha. The sec 3 boys went to train by themselves with another coach because they still had one more year in volleyball so they cannot waste precious time helping to coach the new volleyballers. This time however, we were coaching the sec 2 girls. We as in the sec 4 boys. There were no sec 2 boys, ok have, all girls and 1 boy only. Hahahah. I looked at the girls and then I was only sort of close towards 3 girls. Ok not really close but then is closer than the rest. Only Justina, Crystal, both from 205 and Farlisher(How to spell her name???!!) from student council. Haha. I don't know who to pick so I just picked Farlisher, wahahaha!! SHE DIED UNDER ME!! Nah just kidding, I'm just exaggerating. At first was just a light spike to her and she was supposed to receive to me.
However I don't know why but she wasn't that good at volleyball haha. Even a light spike, the ball she received could fly to the other court. Oh well never mind more practice makes perfect like maths. So yea continued for a while and it wasn't tiring for both her and me at because there was like no running at all. About 20-30min later, the coach said to change. Now it was to do a little spike and to drop ball afterwards. HAHAHHA this time she had to run so I thought it would be more fun!! CAN BULLY!!!!!!!! No la, I not that bad de, I didn't bully her, it was just what I was told to do. But the first few times I was unable to drop the second ball because she couldn't receive the spike back to me. Oh well sometimes we just played normally haha, because if she couldn't receive it would be like not fun and so we just played. HMMM I don't know how to explain but somehow she got tired from my spike and dropping of balls haha so as a kind person(Hehe!!) I allowed her to rest.
Ok bla bla volleyball was soon over bla bla. I lazy talk about volleyball le haha. BLECK!!!
My Common Test 1 results 2010 and End-of-year results 2009
I seriously screwed up my Common Test results, ARGH!!! My E-maths and Chemistry dropped...NOOOO!!! I was supposed to be scoring in these two subjects but I didn't. They weren't A1 this time round. NOOOOO!!!! STUPID!! Just when E-maths was supposed to be my best subject, now it is like pathetic!! ARGH!! Seriously lor, I did not know what I was doing during the exam time. Haiz haiz. I must definitely score better in the next Common Test which is around mid year. Well I shall tell you my last year EOY results first and then you can compare to this year's results.

Pathetic results right? Drop like siao la!! E-maths and Chemistry drop!! Haiz haiz... ...and this is just the grades, I didn't state the exact marks, if I state it, you could see that it is a HUGE drop! Haiz haiz! Ok I shall state just my E-maths results last year, I got 92 marks and then now what???!! A2???!!! Haiz... ...so much marks gone la, so much difference! And EOY was supposed to be much harder than just a meer Common Test so is a great deprovement. Haiz and the number of A1s drop from 3 to 2... ...A1 is so important in L1R5. Haiz ACJC needs 6 points to enter and I only got 10 points!!! I am way too far away from ACJC... ...the fourth of fifth best JC in Singapore. Never mind, I must and will try my best to improve on the next common test coming up in 4 months or so.
Actually I wanted to write about something else, a gospel message for you guys to read but then I forgot which verse was it from the Bible haha. So I shall just post some poems for you to read! :D
God will be with you all the time
