What is worship to you?
What is worship to you? Is it just about singing to the Lord? Is it just on Sunday that you worship God? Is it only at church where you can worship God? If your answer is Yes to all these questions, I can cleary say that your worship is not true worship and is not a worship that God wants. People tend to get caught up in where they should worship, what music they should sing in worship, and how the worship looks to other people. Focusing on these things completely misses the point. True worship is God-centered worship.
John 4:24 --> God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.
This means that true worship only comes through a pure heart, you can worship God wherever you are as long your heart is pure with the spirit. Worship God with all of your heart. If you worship without a pure heart, that is the same as not worshipping God at all. Worship can include praying, reading God's Word with an open heart, singing, participating in communion, and serving others. It's not limited to one act, but is done properly when the heart and attitude of the person is in the right place.
Revelation 19:10 --> And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of they brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
This tells us that worship and praises are only reserved for God because He only is worthy of such praises and worship and not His fellow servants. We are not to worship saints, prophets, statues, idols, angels, or any other false gods.
My thanks to God in prayer
I would like to share with you guys in simple thanksgiving prayer that I prayed to God. I removed a person's name due to privacy. Haha.
Dear Lord, Heavenly Father in Heaven,
Thank you Lord for always answering my prayers. Thank you Lord for giving me the strength to live my life day after day. Without you, I may even be so depressed over the things in life, over the sin that others have committed but you are always there for me when I need you, when I need someone to talk to. Lord, your ways are what's best for me. Though I do not understand sometimes about the way you do things, I know that your ways are to nurture me, to grow me into a stronger person. Thank you Lord for the things in life, for giving me such wonderful friends around me. Though each and every one of them are different in many ways, they are still special for being who they are so I thank you Lord for giving me friends.
Thank you Lord for loving me and dying for me on that cross on the day of Calvary to wash away my sins. For your word has spoken that only through you will I have eternal life so without you dying on that cross that very day, I will not be able to receive this gift and I will not able to spend my life after death in Heaven with you because I have sin in me. But you came just to wash away my sin and gave me this wonderful gift that no other can ever give, so great so mavelous. Thank you Lord.
Lord, yesterday I ask you to help someone in her walk of faith. She believes in you but she does not fully commit her life into your hands. I ask you to help her, to strengthen her, to provide opportunities to let her know that you are there for her whenever she is upset and to remind her of the love that you have for her and to remind her and you are the only one who can solve whatever problems that she face in life. Today, you have answered my prayer Lord. Through Pastor Jason's semon, you have created that opportunity and I believe you are working in her heart at this very moment. Thank you Lord for answering this simple care of mine.
Lord I pray and thank you so very much,

Some extras to add
Hey guys, I remember last time I said that prayers are really effective but did you guys pray as I ask you to? I have shown you another example of God answering my prayer and it is indeed true about the power of prayer. So pray guys, trust God because He knows everything about you, don't think that God does not understand you just because you are feeling down or perhaps have experienced a downturn in your life. God made you in His very own image, God knows your sufferings, God wants to help you but He can't do so unless you extend your hands out to Him, unless you open that stubborn door of yours in your heart to let Him come into your life. God is waiting, waiting for that time to come. So trust Him and let Him lead your life.
God has also taught me to forgive and to forget. You know why sometimes your heart will feel troubled, it is because you choose not to forgive and to forget some things in life. Perhaps, your best friend did something bad and you cannot bring yourself to forgive him or her. You see, around 2 thousand years ago, Jesus Christ died on the cross to wash away all our sins. Before He gave up His spirit which means before He died, He asked God who is actually Himself because God is 3 person in one, The Father, The Son and the Holy Ghost. He asked God to forgive the Roman soldiers because they know not what they have done. If Jesus could ask God to forgive others, why can't you forgive others as well? I mean Jesus forgive the Roman soldiers for nailing Him on the cross, it is so much more cruel that what you claimed to can't forgive. Compared to Jesus dying on the cross, yours is nothing. So Jesus has shown us that we must forgive one another.
Not only forgive but to forget. Once you ask Jesus to forgive you of whatever sin you have done, Jesus will never bring up that incident again because once He has forgiven you, He will forget it. So this is also the thing that you must do. Forgive and to forget. Is easy if you actually practice it. One reason why you become upset over something is because you cannot get over it, so just forgive and forget. Like for me, how often do you see that I am depressed or unhappy? You seldom see me in that kind of state because firstly I don't take things to heart and I forgive others like how Jesus forgive. Secondly, I pray and trust in God that He will do whats best for me and that He will take away all my sorrow and grief.
I would like to share 3 verses in the Bible.
John 3:16 --> For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotton Son, that whosoever believth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:17 --> For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
John 3:18 --> He that believeth on Him is not condemned; but He that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotton Son of God.
Because of God's love for us because He is like a Father and we are like His dear children, He sent His only Son that He has to die on the cross to wash all our sins by bearing them all onto Him. And God has given us a present that no one else can give, He gave us eternal everlasting life. All it takes to receive this gift is just to believe and trust in God, and believing that Jesus Christ died for your sin and He is the Saviour of your life. Thats all it takes to receive the wonderful gift of everlasting life. God sent His Son not to crticize everyone of their sins but to save everyone so that everyone can spend eternity in Heaven with Him. Those that believe in God and ask for forgiveness for every sin and repent from the sin, they are not condemned, but those that do not do so are already condemned because sin in unholy and sin cannot take you to Heaven because Heaven is a righteous and Holy place and because you do not belive that Jesus has died for your sins and you have not accepted Him as your Saviour.
What a wonderful thing that God has done for all of us. His love for us is uncomparable!
