Q1. Have you ever felt that everything is lost and no one else seem to be able to be there for you and solve your problem? Have you ever felt that your life no longer has its purpose anymore?
Well before I continue any further, let me share an experience with you. Ok I know this may sound a little silly but what do you know? I was only about the age of 7 or 8 I think. My mum always scolded me for things when I had bad results or when I did a lot of wrong things. She always caned me too!! That time since I was really young, the pain of the cane seemed to be so great and I couldn't tolerate it. Everytime I got whacked, I would cry like crazy but my mum would just continue to cane me. It was around that period that I really thought that life has no meaning. I did not really know the reason why my mum keeps on hurting me and I was really lost. I had no one to turn to, no friends that I could confine in. I was all on my own! Sometimes I even entered my room and started saying things like , "What is life for? I want to die!" Something like that. I tried to knock my head against the wall, hoping I could just faint and not feel anything anymore. I was really depressed at that very point of time.
However somehow my heart was softened as I listened to the Word of God from my Sunday School teachers. As I listened, it felt like as if God is talking to me. God is like telling me, "Pray Tommy. I am always here for you. Tell me all your troubles." I was really shocked at that point of time because it was really like a voice that was talking to me as the Word of God is being preached by my Sunday School teachers. That very day, I went home and decided to pray to the Lord for my very first time in my life. I was really young that time so I just prayed a simple prayer, "Lord, I am feeling very troubled right now. I feel like dying and I do not know what to do. Help me Lord.". Thats was all that I said and prayed to God. Within a few moments, there was a change in my emotions and God had really answered my prayer. The Lord comforted my heart and I was really thankful. I felt like a new person and was no longer depressed. It was then that I realised that no matter what happens, God is always there for me when I need Him, all I have to do is just to pray and ask God to help me.
My friends, so you see, God has worked in my life, He has changed me completely. Don't worry if you have problems, if you have any troubles or worries, God is always there waiting, waiting for you to humbly pray and ask Him to guide you in your life. You may not believe me but it is true. God is amazing, God is great! If you need Him, just call out to Him. He will comfort your soul with His love and all your worries will be gone forever! All you need to do is just to pray and thats it. Pray to Him, believing that God is able to solve all your problems in life.
Q2. Have you ever experienced that not every prayer requests you make will ever be granted? Have you ever wondered why is that?
God knows everything that will happen! He knows what happens tommorrow or the day after which are things you do not know of. Yes, in Matthew 8:7, the Bible says, "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you" and John 14:14, "If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it." However God knows the outcome of everything, He knows everything! When your prayers seem like they have not been answered, there are probably three reasons for it. One is because you still have sins that are not yet confessed unto the Lord, two is because God is still working on your request, just that you have not realised it and lastly, is because perhaps maybe If God were to give you that particular thing you want, He knows that it is going to ruin your life so He did not fulfill your wish. God loves us and He wants the best for us, He is our Father, wanting the best for us, like how a father wants the best for his children. There is one more reason actually, and that is God is testing your faith for Him. If for example you ask for something and you only prayed once, and if God wants to test your faith for Him, He will deliberately not answered your prayer for the moment. If you stopped praying and asking for that thing over and over again, it just means you do not trust the Lord very much and your faith is not strong. God wants you to continue asking for the things you want.
Let me give an illustration of what it means that perhaps if God has granted what you want, it will be harmful or bad for you. Since God knows everything that will happen in the future, maybe you are asking for a girl's hand in marriage, and your prayer seems to be unanswered, perhaps maybe in future, the girl whom you marry is going to hurt you a lot and will make you feel so miserable and will turn you away from the Lord. God forsees this event and He does not want that to happen because He loves us for we are His dear children. He created us and we are very dear to Him, special in our own ways. There are some people in this world who ask for like things like, "I want money. Can I rob the bank?" Something like that and if God were to answer that prayer, won't the whole world be in total chaos and the world will be ruined? So yes, God will give you everything that you ask Him, provided that the things you want are not 'harmful' and will be able to serve Him better.
Q3. Do you want a life of happiness? Do you want a life that has no sufferrings, no pain, no sorrow?
God loves us so so much, don't you think He wants us to lead our days in happiness? God has a way for us to spend eternity in Heaven with him forever and ever, isn't that exciting? God promises us that we will be able to experience no sorrow, no pain, no hardship in Heaven, and we will be able to eat any fruits and drink any drinks we want in Heaven without worrying about getting poisoned. We will be able to communicate with animals too!! Isn't that so cool?? God has a way for us to go to Heaven...even though we are sinners while He is Holy. There is no way for us sinners to spend our lives with the Lord in Heaven, but God is great and He has a way for us to do so. Isn't that great? Through God's grace, we are granted everlasting life. John 3:16 in the Bible says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross at Calvary for our sins. On that very day, Jesus carried the burden of all our sins and died at that very cross where the Romans crucified Him. At that point of time, Satan(Lucifer) thought that victory was his, as the Son of Man, the Son of God has died but he was so wrong. Three days later, Jesus rose from the dead and He was the ultimate victor. Satan was defeated.
Because of Jesus, dying on the cross for our sins, we are able to be saved. If not for Jesus, we could never have eternal life. However, in order for you to obtain everlasting life, is just a simple thing that you need to do. Just take the step of faith and trust in the Lord. Believe in Him that Jesus died for your sins, believe that only through Jesus will you have eternal life. All it takes is just to believe in Him and thats all. Is nothing hard. The Lord is waiting for you to open the door of your heart, waiting for you to allow Him in come in.
If I have moved you today and you have decided to trust God as your Saviour, will you pray with me in this simple prayer(below, isn't any "official prayer" but rather a sample prayer to follow when asking Jesus into your heart. You can pray to God in your own words.) :
"Dear God, heavenly Father in Heaven, I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness. I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin. You said in Your Holy Word, Romans 10:9 that if we confess to the Lord our God and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved. Right now, with my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved. Thank you Jesus for your unlimited grace which has saved me from my sins. I thank you Jesus that your grace never leads to license, but rather it always leads to repentance. Therefore Lord Jesus transform my life so that I may bring glory and honor to you alone and not to myself, bringing honor to your name. Thank you Jesus for dying for me and giving me eternal life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."

Ok, wow!! My post is already so long!! WOOOOOO!!! Oh well I have not talked about my school life today haha. So here goes... ...
In the morning today, I am not able to visit 105 because I got prize presentation preparation to do!! BOO HOOO!!! I cannot see them on the first day of school this week, so so so sad!! Oh well, I saw Xin Tong, Pi Gin and Putra on the way to school though. Haha. Actually my job for every prize presentation day is just to supervise the sec 2s on what to do only. However being a kind soul(Hahahhaa!!), I decided to help them today. I helped them take the medals from the teachers instead of them doing so hehehe. The people on duty for it was Jolle and Shi Ling. I told them to meet me at 7 10am at the assembly area. You know why I did that??? Hahahaha, is because I went to 202, supposingly to play a quick arm wrestling with some of the guys there. I went there like 7am and I thought that there would not be so many people there as it was quite early, to my horrow, WAAAAA!! Almost the whole class is like there le la!!! AHHHHH!!! Will definitely feel awkward when I entered the class lor. Nevertheless, I went in and stood beside Marcus Phua. I talked to him for a bit about Si Ying saying him being a pervert and stuff haha. Si Ying at the same time was asking Xin An to play with me arm wrestling. I heard Xin An said that his hand was injured but I don't think that is the case lor hahaha, I think he chickened out hehe!!
Besides I am not that good in arm wrestling as well, so don't know why he did not want to play with me haha. There was a group of boys in the class playing poker cards though. I went there to just have a quick look and suddenly, a girl behind me to my left said, "Hello Tommy!" I turned around(DUH!!! Natural human reaction haha) and said, "Hi!" I looked at her and didn't know who she was, but she knew who I am!!!! AHHHHHHH!! Since I didn't know who she was, I turned back because I seriously did not know what to say other than "Hi" and one more reason, I am very shy on the first few meetings with girls! Hahahahaa. After which, before I wanted to leave the class to prepare the prize presentation thing, Si Ying asked me to show her how to play arm wrestling with just 2 fingers, because she had never seen anyone playing with that method before. Well so we found a table and 2 chairs, sat down and started playing haha. She was using her whole right hand while I was using only 2 fingers from my right hand. I let her use her strength first because she is a girl ma, so must at least give in a bit lor. After the used, wow!! I could feel her amount of strength but then I started to use my strength and I .. .. won her ba? 2 fingers vs whole hand in less than 1 sec? Maybe? Haha not sure, but of well she is a girl after all so is not so bad!! Her strength is ok too, quite good!! HEHEHE!!
Anyway after that I left 202 and bla bla bla. First period was Literature. Second period was Chinese. Third period was English but Mr Osgodby didn't come to school so is free period!!! WOOOHOOO!!! Oh yea!! Ok la, not exactly free period because he has assigned us work to do through our english rep, Alvina. We had to write a summary on a topic in the National Geographic. I finished it in 30min I think and I slept for the next 30min haha. Don't know why but felt so so so tired in school... I am usually like that de though hehe, I just cannot help it but feel tired. The moment the bell rang which signified that it was recess, I woke up haha cause i didn't really sleep ba? Just resting so I could still hear my surroundings. I could hear Marcus' voice, I could hear Aminah's voice, I could hear Elvina's voice. HAIYO!!! All talk so loud de... no peace!! Hehehee. Anyway I asked Marcus to accompany me to the staftroom as I had to hand in my chinese file in my chinese's teacher pigeon hole and have to pass back Mr Tom Chan his cds for the council project thing. As I walked past 106 classroom to go to the staftroom, saw Debbie sitting at the back of the classroom door. I thought it was Jessica?? Oh man, is so confusing.
After going staftroom, went to the canteen to buy drink with Marcus, and back to class we went. Elvina took my lion!!!!! AHHHHHH!!!! My lion!!!! She took my baby!!!! NOOOOOO!!! I tried ways and means to get it back from her but I failed. You know why?? She put my lion in between her legs on her skirt. OH MY GOODNESSS!!! HOW TO TAKE??? Later she shout, "Molest" I die sia haha. Each time I tried to get it when she was hugging or holding my lion, she would slap my hand. LOL!!! MY LION!!!!! DON'T LEAVE PAPA!!!! Haha. To make matters worse, she brought my lion down to the assembly area after recess has ended. NOOOOOO!!! My poor lion!! Hehehe... oh well after recess, she returned me. Next was Biology lesson, and once again it was a free period and this time was really free period because Miss Aza did not come to school and did not set any work for us!! WOOOOHOOOOO!!! I forgot what I did in this lesson though. Oh well skip!!! Next was A-maths. And finally Chemistry lesson!! The last period of the day!! WOOOOOOOO!!! Shiok!!!!
Chemistry lesson was really funny sia!! Can't help laughing non-stop when Miss Lee said something really funny. She was teaching us about metals. Something like "Mg + Ag2O ----> MgO + Ag" She was saying Mg was Kester and Ag was Zhao Wei. Kester likes Miss Lee more than Zhao Wei so Kester kicks Zhao Wei away from Miss Lee and joins up with Miss Lee haha. Mg kicks Ag20 and forms MgO and left Ag all on its own. Haha she gives this type of example is just way way too funny la. She was laughing too when she was saying that and she sort of blushes!!!??? AWWWWW Miss Lee, you love us, don't you?? Haha just kidding. Anyway yea it was really funny. We had 10min free time before the dismissal bell rang. Lucas suddenly came up to me and wanted to play with me arm wrestling haha. Don't know whats gotten into him haha, lose me don't know how many times le still never gives up. Oh well so played with him both my left and right hand and the results are obvious ba? I no need say. After that, I challenged Kester haha. Kester whenever he plays arm wrestling, his face will turn super duper red sia and his hand will vibrate strongly. I played with him and I did not play to win, I play to see his face turn red haha. I let him use all his strength until he was exhausted haha, he still didn't manage to win me, but I managed to see his bloody red face!! WHEEEE!!! Hahahaa.
Kester was something like this girl haha, just that his face was red!!!
Ok bell rang.. ..went down to the signing in and out system. Serena had third language but everytime didn't see her leave the school de haha!! Did I leave the school first? Or did Serena leave the school before me? Hmm hmm. Oh well.. ..Marcus and I walked to lot 1, while Si Ying and her friend too. I was speaking to Marcus hokkien hahahaha... ...haiz Si Ying's friend was able to translate for her... .YEEEEE!!! I at first wanted Si Ying to wonder what we were saying de sia. YEEEEEE!!!!! Si Ying was saying that Marcus and I were old man though cause only old people speak hokkien lol!!!!! I became old today? Hahahahaa. MARCUS?!!!!! I OLD MEH?????? YEEEEE!! I am 5 years old only!! NOT OLD!!!! BULLIES!!!! BULLIES!!!!! BULLY SMALL KID LIKE ME!!!!!!! MUMMY!!!!! DADDY!!!!!!!!!! HELP ME!!!!!!! Haha.
Ok la, don't want to drag this post le la... I lazy type also le. I have been posting since 6pm and now is almost 10pm!!!! Can you believe it????? Haha. Kk nightz everyone!!
