Hello! I am back from camp!!! WOOOOOO! So happy haha. Haiz haiz, aiyo wei, nobody tag my blog during the time of camp de... ...BOO HOOO!!!! My blog is dead, noooooooooo! Anyway, lets talk a bit about the camp and about today after the camp. Hehehe here we go!!

The camp was boring at the start and at the end to be really honest. However, when it went on, the camp became more fun but overall I still find Ngee Ann Polytechnic camp(YLA) is so much better! You know why? Cause YLA the sleeping area are like home or hotel la. Haiz the camp is sleep on hard wood or on the ground. Like army style la. Back and neck ache de la. Haiz haiz. Oh well, it's ok. Then hor bathe also must like 3-5 min must finish le, so so so so not fair!!!! Bathe also not clean clean de lor, still body so itchy. Haiz. Worse still, bathroom, so damn small!!!! What man! Somemore got toilet bowl when we bathe de, no place to hang clothes for the boys, then any moment got fear that clothes or shampoo, etc can drop into the toilet bowl la, haiz. The boys' bathing area like so miserable. I think if I stay any longer for the camp, meaning is more than 3 days, I will die!! Cause firstly, no proper bed. Secondly, bathe also still so dirty. Thridly, food served is nice but so little, not filling to me. Haha. A very brieg description of the bathing system. I go into the toilet, take out my clothes, have not even turned on the tap, the PM(Platoon Mentor aka group-in-charge) shouted from outside that I had only 3 minutes left. OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!!!! How to bathe in 3min??? I am so not used to it la, cause at home can take own sweet time and I usually will take about 7min.

On the first day of camp, I got real muddy. Not my front, but just my back. Cause we must crawl in mud or roll in mud. BOOO HOOOO! I hate getting dirty la!! Somemore bathing time also so little! I would just have to put shampoo on my hair and soap on my body at the same time when I wash them off, haiz. So so so so so jia lat!!! Not only that, sometimes we would have to sit down and listen to the PM(NOT PRIME MINISTER AR!!!!!!) or the so-called officer talk and sit down can be like a few hours!!! Cross-legged you know... ...Leg all pain la, as in tired. Not only that, butt also pain, cause keep on sitting on rocky ground. No smooth place. ARGH!!!! This camp is a military style camp so wherever you go, you will see millipedes crawling here and there. Just imagine, millipede crawling up into your sleeping bag when you are sleeping!!!! EWWWW, gives me a creep haha. Well, these so far were all the bad points about the camp. Now lets talk about some things that I like during the camp.

Firstly, is the "Salute Panther". I don't really know how to explain it but it is nice to do it haha. Is we must jump a little and then show a peace sign, aiya! I don't know how explain la, only know how to do haha. Aminah said I looked cute doing it, lol!!! So ask me to do ba, if you want to know what is the "Salute Panther" is all about. Secondly, I like the 'scolding' that we had on the last day of the camp. The so-called one of the officers scolded us today before we had our final ceremony and before we left the camp site to go home. Because of some people who did not go up and claim their lost and found belongings, we got scolded. He said about us not appreciating what our parents have ever done for us. He said that we must think about our parents, put ourselves in their shoes. He added that mother had to suffer for 9 months and had to go through labour to give birth to us and her figure would not be as nice as before she was pregnaunt. Father on the other hand had to sacrifice his time with his friends and have to work harder to provide money for the child because he could no longer spend a lot of money on himself. Our parents did so much things for us, yet how we repay them? We shouted at them when we are angry, we do not listen to them at times. But we did not realise, when our parents scold us, they are hurting inside. Obviously, when we are hurt, they are hurt because every parents would love their own dearest children. No parents would not want the best for their child. But yet why do they still scold us if they are hurting? The very reason is because scolding us will make us realise our mistakes and we will become better person. So whenver you receive a scolding, don't be too sad or don't be angry with your parents, because if you are hurt by them 100%, they will hurt 200% inside. Our parents will feel more pain than us(although they won't show it in front of us). So yea I like the 'scolding' given by the so-called officer.

After the 'scolding', he told us to write down at least 4 letters to express our gratitude to someone or our love to someone. Guess who I wrote to? Haha. I did not give the letter to the person I wrote to though. During the 'scolding', he also added that we do not know when people die, cause it happens anytime and anywhere. He added "when was the last time we ever say I love you Mum or Dad or thank you Mum or Dad?" Life is unpredictable! So we took the opportunity of the 4 letters to write to those whom we want to express our gratitude or love to. Since some of us are shy and dare not say those words face to face, we used the letters. One moment, our parents may not be there cause an accident occur, at that very moment, we will cry, won't we? I bet we will be regretting that we did not treasure the moments that we had spent together and will regret for not pleasing our parents before they leave the world. The time we would most probably realise our mistakes and the wrong doings we have done is the time when our love ones die. But why wait till then to realise? Why not start now? From this moment onwards. So if you are reading this long post, please do not forget that your parents love you. Your parents want the best for you! Never forget that. Love them, don't raise your voice at them when you are angry. Because they will be hurt. Care for them, express your love to them. If you have not done so today, go to both your Mum and Dad, and tell them you love them and give them a hug. I gurantee you that those words are the sweetest to their ears, especially coming from their very own dearest beloved child. They will be touched. The magic of "I love you" is far too great for you to imagine!! Trust me! If you think is too mushy or stuff like that, write it out in a letter. Love your parents as after all, they are the ones who raise you up and nurture you into the way you are now. Be thankful and tell them these 3 words "I love you!"

Haha. Well thats about it for the camp! Before I end about the camp, lets talk about one more incident during the camp. Is the second night of the camp when we had a performance done by each platoon(group). The MCs for the performance is Mei and (someone). Haha I forget his name liao. First time I see Mei without her hair being tied haha. Well they were the MCs and whenever song was being played and such while waiting for something(don't really know how to explain) haha, they would so called perform according to the music. During one of it, they held hands and danced. HMMMM... ...how to explain it??? Aiya, ask them can le la. Haha. Well Rodericks was sitting beside me and he was saying to me "WAAA, your Mei want to 嫁人了, don't be sad." Something like that, haha. I think I laughed after hearing that from him. ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...Erm when the camp was over and we were going home that time, we were at the bus stop and I told Kester, Zheng Lun, Wen Xiang "BOOOO! Mei want to 嫁人, want to cry le, will be left alone le" Haha. Something like that. Well, its cool! Anyway during the camp, hardly see my own classmates lor, cause all the classes are mixed together and classmates are scattered all over the place. Whenever I see Mei during the camp or she sees me, we will say "Hi!". Not exactly but in the form of saying "Hi" hehe.

Thats all about camp!!! Haha but today had not ended just yet. We were dismissed at around 11 45am and we(Kester, Zheng Lun, Wen Xiang, Qi Kai's group and me) had tuition at Bukit Panjang Primary School at 2 15pm. YAY!!! My primary school!!!! O~O~O~O~LEI!!! QI Kai's group members went home first before going for the tuition. Zheng Lun, Wen Xiang, Kester and I went to Bukit Panjang Plaza to eat first and then to my house. They put their bags in my house so as not to waste time going home first and then coming back. We were tutoring primary 6 students Mathematics for the CME project thing. When they went to my house, the first thing they heard after a while was my dog barking haha. So so funny!!! They so damn funny la, my dog bark so loud, they so scared le. Got one time when I ask them take thier bag after we ended the tuition to go home, they like dared not la. Cause there is a gate at the corridor of my house for Joe, my dog to walk out. Erm.. ...when I opened the gate and they walked nearer to their bags, my dog heard their movements and started barking. Joe scratched the main door too and when he did that, those 3 boys ran from the gate there to the lift area. OH MY!!!! They so scared Joe would open the main door and chase after them la. Haha so very very funny!!! Can't stop laughing!! HOHOHO! Anyway so yea we went tuition, and at about 2pm, we reached the primary school(Just beside my condo). We started tutoring the kids there even though Qi Kai's group had not arrived yet. Brief of what happened, the kids were behaving well, very good! But however QI Kai's group could not manage to find the school and they lost their way, HAIZ!!!! CRAP LA!!!! QI Kai kept on calling me asking for directions and such when I was already in the primary school tutoring le. Anyway, in the end, they did not turn up for the tuition. So is just us 4 people tutoring around 30 students. Nothing too difficult! In fact it was fun and enjoyable. Funny too at times. Some of them call me 'teacher', my reaction to that was I said I am still a student. Some of them call me 'Tom' or 'Tommy", my reaction to that was nothing. Some call me 'Mr Tom', the feeling was weird weird de haha, cause not used to have the word Mr in front of my name. So funny la. They call Kester 'Mr Yellow' cause he was wearing yellow house tee, they call Zheng Lun 'Mr Green' cause he was wearing green house tee. They call Wen Xiang 'Mr Serious', I also don't know why haha.
